The RDE300i Status LED indicates various states as shown in the table below.
| State | Blink Pattern | Notes |
| Off | Off | Unit is not powered. |
| Normal | Slow Blink (On 1s, Off 2s) | Unit is operating normally. |
| Error | Fast Blink (On 0.5s, Off 0.5s) | Unit is posting an error condition. See RDE300i Event Codes. |
| Bootload | Continuously On | Unit is awaiting firmware. See Updating RDE300i Firmware and note recovery procedure if needed. |
The Status LED is located on the underside of the RDE300i enclosure as shown below:
