RDE300i hardware has a known issue that could cause firmware loading to be only partially successful leading to status code 2 on firmware versions before 6569 or code 8 on firmware versions after 6611.
This page contains recovery instructions to use if your firmware loading attempt is affected by this bug.
Procedure:
- Download the A101-58 recovery firmware from the link at the bottom of this page
- Install the A101-58 recovery firmware on your RDE300i unit according to normal firmware loading directions found here: Updating RDE300i Firmware
- Once the firmware is loaded successfully, download the latest RDE300i firmware found here: Updating RDE300i Firmware
